Did anyone watching the recent Dragon launch notice that during the docking with the ISS there seemed to be a lack of any stars against the blackness of space.
Just wondered if anyone had any ideas as to why this was?. Asking here in the hope of a proper science discussion, rather than what I end up with via search results, which is a mixture of conspiracy theories and just plain nonsense.
Given the milky way is very clear on a really dark night, (well in the right places it is) and 1000’s of stars. It would be interesting to discuss.
